Take-Off End Wall of a Tempering Line Enclosure
The conveyor exits the enclosure through an opening that has an adjustable panel across the top to accommodate various thicknesses of glass. Additional metal closures were used under the conveyor to minimize noise and air from coming out that path. |

In-Feed Conveyor into the Oven
Because this plant is airconditioned, the customer elected to have the Oven inside the enclosure to minimize the heat load on their A/C system. It was therefore necessary to provide a removable panel above the conveyor, for access to this end of the Oven. The adjustable sliding panel above the conveyor is also visible in this picture. |

Cam-Lift Hinges
To avoid the need for a threshold across the bottoms of the doors, cam-lift hinges raise the door leafs as they open, thereby avoiding excess wear on the bottom seal. The door drops down as it closes, which then provides a good acoustical seal at the floor. |

Tempering Line Enclosure
The customer's Blower Room is on the outside of the building wall with the quench and cooling ducts penetrating the wall, into the noise enclosure. Relief silencers are mounted on the roof of the enclosure. |

Heavy-duty Latches
This heavy-duty "meat-locker type" latch with an emergency, paddle release on the inside, insures a good acoustical seal. It is compatible with the cam-lift hinges and is appropriate for the heavy usage while providing a long service life. |
